Theology from Pan Africa Christian University, Diploma in
Human Resources Management from Kenya Institute of
Management, Certificate in Biblical Hermeneutics from Christian University Global Net (USA), and
pursuing MA in Religion CUGN (USA). Was Head of Department Christian Education, (CED, 2010 – 2012).
Intern Pastor CITAM Kiserian (2012 – 2013), Resident Pastor Green Park Community Church, Great Rift
Valley Lodge (2013 – 2017), Staff Welfare Manager, Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort (2013 – 2017).
Ordained minister CITAM (2015). Married to Hellen Amukoa a career Banker and blessed with two
daughters, Patience Amukoa a law student and Hope Amukoa.

I believe in human empowerment in whichever form is the true
definition of humanity.
I am a God fearing seasoned trainer and manager, with over 9
years of exceptional service in human potential development
within the Kenya Education Sector, having managed several
portfolios in the Technical Vocation Education Training Centre
based in Nairobi as a Branch Manager (Principal), Instructional
Research and Development Manager, Test (Examinations) Centre
Manager and Management of Learning Manager (a department
charged with the mandate of Training of New Trainers).
I believe in the potential and visions Footprints for Change has to
impact the society positively, influence and transform the youth
agenda through renewal of their minds by exposing them to
better dreams, thus recreating vision. This I also believe is the
best form of empowerment.
I am moreover, a husband and a father of 2 great sons.

Catherine Amenya holds a Master Degree in International Relations with a focus on Peace
Studies from the United States International University, Africa (USIU-A). She currently works
at Hekima Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations (HIPSIR), Nairobi, Kenya as a
Programmes Coordinator. She has worked extensively in areas of Peace building, gender in
peace building and conflict Resolution with different communities in different parts of Kenya.
She also has over five years, experience in Justice and Peace working with government
institutions and academic Institutions with particular interest and expertise in Conflict
Transformation, Governance/Responsible Citizenry, Human Rights/ Protection Advocacy and
Inter-religious actions. Catherine has organized several conferences, workshops, colloquiums
and trainings in leadership, conflict management, prevention and resolution. Catherine has a
passion working with different communities on areas of reconciliation and national healing and
she has organized and coordinated different activities with different communities in Kenya.
